OUR VISION
We envision a more prosperous city where barriers to employment are eliminated and every member of the community is empowered with dignity through meaningful work.
OUR MISSION
To create employment opportunities and provide job training for members of our community seeking to rebuild from addictions, homelessness, and incarceration.
OUR VALUES
We want to follow the example of Jesus in the way we love our neighbors and carry out our daily work. Our organizational values are structured around the idea of G.R.A.C.E. which is a concept that we believe carries the dignifying and redemptive qualities we live out each and every day.
[GROWING EVERYDAY] We believe change is possible. One step, one day at a time.
[RESPONSIBLE TO EACH OTHER] We lift each other up with honesty and respect.
[ACTING WITH INTEGRITY] We do what’s right with our words, our work and our lives.
[COMMUNITY OF PEACE] We create a safe, welcoming space where healing and growth take root.
[EXCELLENCE IN OUR WORK] We show up fully and do our best because it matters.
OUR IMPACT
ALL of us are valuable.
Our work – and most nonprofit impact – can be difficult to articulate in numbers. A first opportunity to work and its impact on someone’s life are not easily quantified.
We measure the impact of the Workshop in a number of ways, some subjective and others are more concrete facts. Barriers overcome, dignity restored, community gained, success in recovery, healthy reintegration, housing secured and so many other rich experiences are core to our organizational impact and mission. Come by sometime, we’d love to host you and share some stories with you. But in the meantime, heres some of the data:
